Hi there.  I’m Pam, a Charlotte area Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and wellness expert.  Through this blog, I hope to be your companion on a journey towards a healthier lifestyle.  We’ll explore the world of balanced eating, discover nutritious and simple recipes, debunk weight loss and health myths, learn practical strategies to end emotional eating, and I’ll share wellness tips so you can find inspiration for creating the healthy, balanced life you want.  

I’ve had the desire to create a wellness blog for years, and I started one back in 2020 when I was just beginning my business, Pure Nutrition & Wellness.  But I struggled with time management.  Running a business is not easy, it requires so much of my  physical, mental and emotional energy, and I ultimately decided to take the pressure of blogging off my plate so that I could invest the extra time and energy into my clients and family.  Through the years, I’ve created a list of blog topics that I think are relevant and valuable and I’m excited to finally get my thoughts onto the blog where they can serve you.  I envision this blog as a resource for science-based nutrition and wellness information as well as a place to look for deliciously easy and (mostly) healthy recipes.
